Macaleab Rich, 3-star forward, includes 2 SEC programs in top 7

Macaleab Rich announced his top 7 schools Tuesday evening and 2 SEC programs made the cut.
The 6-foot-6, 210-pound small forward out of East Saint Louis, Illinois will decide between Ole Miss, Mizzou, Saint Louis, VCU, Illinois Chicago, Kansas State and Eastern Michigan.

Rich is rated as the No. 37 small forward in the nation and the No. 5 prospect from the state of Illinois. Mizzou has the No. 13 rated 2023 class so far, earning commitments from 4-star power forward Trent Pierce and 3-star point guard Anthony Robinson.
Rich also held offers from Northern Illinois, Indiana State and Missouri State.
