Madden NFL 19 releases rankings for the highest-rated rookies from the SEC
Five NFL rookies from the SEC have been given top billing at the game’s highest level, at least in the virtual world.
Madden NFL 19 recently revealed the overall rankings for the game’s top-ranked rookies from the 2018 NFL Draft class and five former SEC players have been mentioned from three SEC schools.
Georgia’s Roquan Smith has been given the honor of being the highest-ranked defensive rookie in Madden NFL 19. The 2017Â SEC Defensive Player of the Year and Butkus Award winner has been given an overall grade of an 81, making him tied with Baker Mayfield as the game’s third-highest rated rookie upon release of the game.
LSU’s Derrius Guice has been ranked second among the NFL’s rookie running backs with Georgia alums Sony Michel ranking fourth and Nick Chubb fifth among all rookie rushers heading into the release of the game. Alabama’s Calvin Ridley has also been ranked, he was given the honor of being the NFL’s second-highest rated rookie receiver.
The highest overall rated rookies upon the game’s release will be Colts offensive lineman Quenton Nelson (Notre Dame) at 83 overall, Giants running back Saquon Barkley (Penn State) at 82 overall, Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield (Oklahoma) 81 overall, Bears linebacker Roquan Smith 81 overall and Denver’s Bradley Chubb (N.C. State) 80 overall.

Sony Michel, RB, Patriots – 77Â Overall

Madden NFL 19 is set to be released on August 10, 2018.
