Main takeaway from LSU-Florida game may be poor officiating
By Paul Harvey

It is hard to tell who is having a worse afternoon Saturday: LSU, Florida, or the officials?
LSU built a 17-3 lead over Florida, but lost receiver Derrick Dillon to a targeting call early in the game. A number of Tigers have also battled injuries throughout the day.
Florida started slow and looked sloppy at times, but the Gators fought back from the 14-point deficit. Unfortunately, the Gators missed the game-tying point after attempt that would have made the score 17-all.
Nevertheless, the sloppiest afternoon of all may belong to the officials. There have been a number of dubious calls and decisions made, and many people have taken to Twitter to sound off on the poor officiating:
Refs blatantly miss a false start on LSU's left tackle. #Gators linemen pointed it out and started to stand up. No call. Woof.

And then the refs miss a false start on LSU

Another horrible call by officials on a Florida runner who clearly went out of bounds. What is going on?

The refs in the UF-LSU game are not seeing things as you and I are …

Refs totally botched the spot out of bounds there. LSU got hosed that time. He was out two yards short of the first down.
