A big season from Will Rogers will mean a lot of money for Make-A-Wish Mississippi. WCBI News Jon Sokoloff reports that the Mississippi State quarterback has partnered with the foundation and Mississippi-based Simmons Erosion Control has agreed to donate $1,000 to the foundation for every touchdown pass Rogers throws this season.
NEWS: #MississippiState QB Will Rogers’ partnership with Make-A-Wish Mississippi is now sponsored by Simmons Erosion Control Inc.
During the football season, the company will separately donate $1000 to Make-A-Wish Mississippi for every TD pass attributed to Rogers. Very cool.

Rogers, a 6-foot-2, 210-pound junior, threw for 4,739 and 36 touchdowns last season for the Bulldogs.
Operating out of Mike Leach’s version of the Air Raid offense, Rogers had 7 games with 3 or more touchdowns and threw at least 4 touchdowns in 4 games. He had a 6-touchdown game in the team’s thrilling 43-34 win over Auburn on Nov. 13.
The Make-A-Wish foundation works to create wishes for children with critical illnesses. You can learn more about the foundation at its official website.
