The Kentucky Wildcats football program is absolutely thirsting for a chance to feature in postseason play.
It’s been five years (2011) since UK has played in a bowl game. In the ’11 BBVA Compass Bowl, the Wildcats lost to Pitt by a score of 27-10.
With that said, there’s tons of optimism surrounding head coach Mark Stoops and his players. This could ultimately be the year to break the dubious streak.

Taking a play on Donald Trump’s campaign slogan, a Kentucky site has created this hat featuring the phrase ‘Make Kentucky Bowl Eligible Again.’Wildcats’ fans can purchase this lid from ShopKSR.com, starting on Friday.
Who knows…maybe this hat will act as a good-luck galvanizing force for Kentucky in 2016.
If anything, the bluish hue will fit perfectly on game days in Lexington.
