Malik Nabers was drafted by the New York Giants to become the true No. 1 receiver that Daniel Jones has never had during his NFL career. Through 3 games, the former LSU star has been so good that he set an NFL record in the 21-15 win against the Cleveland Browns in Week 3.
Nabers became the first player in NFL history with 20 catches and 3 touchdowns in his first 3 career games. In the game on Sunday, he had 8 catches for 78 yards and 2 touchdowns.

It isn’t a coincidence that the play of Daniel Jones has also been some of the best he has had in a long time. In the last 2 games, Jones is 40-of-62 for 414 yards and 4 touchdowns. He has also thrown 0 interceptions.
It wasn’t just Nabers having a big day among rookie receivers as both Marvin Harrison Jr. and Rome Odunze both caught touchdowns in Week 3 as well.
The Giants have a chance to build off the win on Sunday quickly, as they will be hosting the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday Night Football on Amazon Prime. If Nabers and Jones can continue that strong play from the past 2 weeks, the Giants may just be able to contend in a wide-open NFC East.
