Upcoming Manning Passing Academy will be loaded with SEC passers serving as counselors
The Southeastern Conference will be well represented at the upcoming 2021 Manning Passing Academy.
The annual event was not held last season due to COVID but is returning to Nicholls State in July with seven active SEC passers set to serve as counselors for the Manning Passing Academy, according to Jeff Duncan of The Athletic.
If you are unaware of what comes on at the camp, it is designed to help young athletes learn the fundamentals of their positions, as well as teach basic offensive and defensive strategies.
In attendance for the event, which is scheduled to be held from Thursday, July 15, through Sunday, July 18, the following SEC quarterbacks will be working as counselors for the event — including two LSU signal-callers:
- Myles Brennan, LSU
- Max Johnson, LSU
- Matt Corral, Ole Miss
- J.T. Daniels, Georgia
- Harrison Bailey, Tennessee
- Connor Bazelak, Missouri
- Bo Nix, Auburn
- Will Rogers, Mississippi State
Also set to be in attendance is former South Carolina quarterback Jake Bentley. Bentley now plays for South Alabama.
A graduate of the University of Tennessee, Michael Wayne Bratton oversees the news coverage for Saturday Down South. Michael previously worked for FOX Sports and NFL.com
