Comeback SZN is in full effect.
Johnny Manziel got a prime opportunity to take his NFL comeback to the next level on Thursday. The former Texas A&M star and Heisman Trophy winner got to throw in front of NFL personnel for the first time since the Cleveland Browns cut him in 2016.
Manziel was a special guest at San Diego’s Pro Day, where he worked out in front of a reported 12 NFL teams who were in attendance.
Here are some videos of how Manziel looked (via @ToddStrainNBCSD and Fernando Ramirez):

Manziel got mostly positive reviews, it appears. He recently agreed to play in The Spring League, with his goal of eventually making it back to the NFL.
It remains to be seen how Manziel will perform in front of his first live pass rush in two years, but on Thursday, he might’ve taken one step closer to his NFL goal.
