Mario Cristobal eviscerated on social media following major mistake regarding ‘basic math’

Mario Cristobal and the Miami Hurricanes had the game won. All they had to do was take a knee.
Instead, they ran a play. And that play led to a fumble, recovered by Georgia Tech.

The Yellow Jackets didn’t waste any time making the most of their opportunity. Former SEC standouts Haynes King and Christian Leary connected for a 44-yard touchdown to give Georgia Tech an extremely unlikely victory over the Hurricanes:

Cristobal is definitely going to be asked about this decision. There’s no explaining that will satisfy Miami fans, but you can bet he’ll face numerous opportunities to discuss that choice.
Miami now suffers an embarrassing loss and will have to regroup moving forward.
