Kentucky took care of business against Youngstown State on Saturday, pitching a 31-0 shutout at home.

Wildcats coach Mark Stoops met with the media Monday afternoon and admitted that he wasn’t thrilled with a lot of what he saw Saturday.

“After reviewing the film, really kind of disappointed and a little unhappy with some of the undisciplined play that we had from this past week, not to take away from so many players that did a great job,” Stoops said. “… Defensively, it was a very good effort once again.”

Stoops added that his primary concerns were with what he saw on offense and some of the mistakes his team made.

“Offensively, there’s some things that we have to get ironed out,” Stoops said. “… Anytime you have 10 penalties, three turnovers, four fumbles, and you do that at home, it just shows you that (the) attention to detail was not there. … There’s so many things we need to improve on.”

No. 9 Kentucky returns to action Saturday night at home against Northern Illinois.
