Kentucky opened SEC play Saturday night with an impressive 35-28 victory over Missouri, and the Wildcats did so despite having a couple of key defensive players hampered due to injury.
Senior safety Davonte Robinson suffered an apparent right ankle injury against the Tigers, and while he returned to play following the injury, the 6-2, 213-pounder looked clearly hobbled.
Additionally, senior outside linebacker Jordan Wright was unavailable in the 2nd half against Missouri due to an undisclosed injury.
On Monday during his weekly press conference, Kentucky coach Mark Stoops addressed the status of both injured players, and the update was positive.
“Davonte (Robinson) should be good. Jordan (Wright) is day to day,” Stoops said.
