It wasn’t pretty, but Kentucky will take it.
Pretty rarely wins football games either.
Kentucky narrowly beat Eastern Kentucky Saturday 27-16, and Mark Stoops knows his team has to improve. And quickly, too, because the Wildcats travel to South Carolina next week.
Perhaps the biggest area of concern ahead of SEC play is the offensive line. Woeful at times, this group has to jell and protect the QB much better.

Stoops was pleased with WR Blake Bone stepping up and making some big plays. Said the WRs have to help their QB by making plays like those.
