Tennessee lands commitment from speedy Alabama receiver Marquarius White
Josh Heupel loves him some speed on the edges of his offense and that’s exactly what the Vols are getting in the program’s newest commitment.
Alabama native Marquarius White just announced his commitment to Tennessee, giving the Vols their first commitment from a receiver in the 2022 recruiting cycle.
The 5-foot-10, 155-pound White is rated as a three-star prospect, the No. 68 receiver in the country and Alabama’s No. 21 overall prospect in the 2022 recruiting cycle according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.
Following White’s addition to Tennessee’s recruiting class, the Vols now hold pledges from nine prospects.
In addition to starring at receiver for Clay-Chalkville High School, White also runs track for the school. He’s been clocked in at 10.96 in the 100 meters and 22.15 in the 200 meters.
