Marquis Maze offers very candid thoughts on state of Alabama recruiting

Marquis Maze weighed in on the state of Alabama recruiting as the Crimson Tide is currently ranked No. 18 in the country in the class of 2023. Half of those recruits landed in June, and 2 of the 10 commitments are 5-stars.
The former Alabama player offered his thoughts on changes Alabama should make with regards to recruiting strategies.
“Bama gotta start back getting them hungry kids the 5*’s are cool but most of them let these so called recruiting websites fuck they head up and a lot don’t get no better from high school to college. I’ve said yrs ago fuck winning recruiting battles.”

If you really wanna know my opinion on this recruiting stuff I think the assistant coaches are lazy now they only offering who these websites say good and really not doing their homework on the diamonds in the rough no more, they gave the kids the leverage in it
