Maryland poaches Arkansas’s Director of Recruiting

Director of Recruiting Taylor Edwards announced Sunday night that he was leaving Arkansas for the same position at Maryland.

This is a tough loss for Arkansas, because the Hogs have put together the nation’s No. 21 overall class despite just two wins on the season. Of course, Chad Morris has had a major hand in that, but Edwards’ importance can’t be overstated.

Edwards is reuniting with new Maryland head coach Mike Locksley, who he previously coached with at Alabama.

Replacing Edwards will be tough for Morris, and it’ll certainly be interesting to see who he hires for his replacement.
