Matt Corral was injured with 1:38 left in the first quarter as Ole Miss trailed Auburn, 14-3.
Corral suffered the injury as he rolled out of the pocket, and appeared to be hit in the left leg, and then landed gingerly. Corral needed help to get to the bench, and was given support by players and coaches on the sideline.
The Ole Miss quarterback was 5-for-7 passing for 54 yards when he left. He was replaced by backup QB Luke Altmyer.
The Tigers took the lead on a pair of long scoring drives when they punched it in after 11 plays and 10 plays in the first quarter.
