Matt Landers had to fight for his first touchdown of Friday’s Battle Line Rivalry game.

In the 2nd quarter, Arkansas QB KJ Jefferson threw one to the end zone. Mizzou defender Kris Abrams-Darian was in the right spot to cover the pass, effectively contesting the reception. Ultimately, though, Landers came down with the ball in the end zone to give the Razorbacks 6 points.

Landers’ touchdown cut it to 17-14 Mizzou after the extra point. The Tigers answered the score with another field goal, getting their lead back to 20-14.

Landers, a Georgia transfer, currently leads all Arkansas receivers with 4 catches on 6 targets for 79 yards in the game, with a long of 37 yards and 20 yards after contact.

The Arkansas-Mizzou game is currently airing on CBS.
