The Heisman Trophy race is heating up as we pass the halfway point of the 2019 season.
Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa and LSU QB Joe Burrow are currently among the favorites to win the award, along with former Alabama QB Jalen Hurts and ex-Georgia QB Justin Fields.
This week, former Heisman winner (and current FOX analyst) Matt Leinart named his top 5 in the Heisman race, putting Burrow at No. 1 and Tagovailoa at No. 3:

Burrow’s story is certainly a great one, as is Hurts’. However, Tagovailoa continues to plug away and put up eye-popping numbers.
Who will win the award this year? We’ll find out in a couple of months.
