It looks like the Rebels received some good news ahead of their matchup with Kentucky.

It was announced on Wednesday that junior OL Sean Rawlings has been cleared to play after undergoing the concussion protocol. The school released Matt Luke’s announcement.

Rawlings missed the game against Arkansas due to the concussion. He also missed time earlier this season with an ankle injury earlier in the season. Having Rawlings back should help improve the offense in Jordan Ta’amu’s second start at QB.

The offensive line will play a crucial role against a Wildcats defensive front that plays strong. The school also shared Rawlings’ assessment of Kentucky’s defensive front:

“They’re a really good defense,” Rawlings said. “They have two really good nose guards that can play. They have some good edge rushers. It is an SEC defense. They show up every Saturday.”

Ole Miss will be looking to put the loss to Arkansas in the past. Saturday’s kickoff against Kentucky is set for 4 pm EST on the SEC Network.
