It is the final weekend for recruiting visits prior to National Signing Day, so coaches will be taking every opportunity they can get to leave a strong impression on recruits.
For Gators coach Jim McElwain, that opportunity came during a timeout in the first half of the Florida vs. West Virginia men’s basketball game, according to 247Sports’ Thomas Goldkamp.
McElwain grabbed a mic and did his best to fire up the Gators faithful during a tough contest against a Top 10 college basketball team.
