McKinnley Jackson played his final game at Kyle Field Saturday afternoon, going out with a 38-10 win over Abilene Christian.
The Texas A&M defensive lineman confirmed Saturday following the game that this will be his last season in college football. He’ll play one more regular season matchup against LSU and potentially the Aggies’ bowl matchup in December.
This is significant because, if he wanted, Jackson has one season of eligibility remaining. The senior’s freshman season was in 2020, which does not count towards eligibility due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
