There wasn’t much drama surrounding the Sunday reveal of the College Football Playoff selection committee’s field of four. After conference championship games, it was clear to the vast majority of CFB observers that the top four would involve LSU, Ohio State, Clemson and Oklahoma. Whether the Tigers would move back up to No. 1 was arguably the biggest pre-reveal debate. Now that it has been settled, we know LSU will face Oklahoma in the Peach Bowl at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, where the Tigers just defeated Georgia for the SEC Championship.
