Media reacts to Georgia’s win over Arkansas

The Georgia Bulldogs got off to a rough start against Arkansas Saturday, but thankfully, they found a winning combination with backup quarterback Stetson Bennett in the second half.

Georgia beat the Hogs 37-10.

Bennett replaced starter D’Wan Mathis late in the first half, and Mathis clearly wasn’t ready for SEC play. The dual-threat quarterback finished just 6-of-14 for 37 yards and 1 INT. Bennett, on the other hand, finished 20-of-29 for 211 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Bennett has to be the starter moving forward, as JT Daniels hasn’t been cleared to play yet.

Georgia’s slow start saw the Dawgs down 7-5 at halftime to Arkansas, but thankfully, teams play 2 halves in college football. Bennett led Georgia’s offense in the second half to scoring 32 points.
