When top-ranked Alabama and Texas face off in Austin on Saturday, not everyone in the Lone Star State will be pulling for the Longhorns.

Avery Tomasco, an Austin-based meteorologist, offered a comical warning via tweet Thursday morning to Texas fans about what to expect from the visiting Crimson Tide.

“A mix of longhorn sweat and tears will lead to rapidly rising water levels in DKR. Please plan accordingly! Turn Around, Don’t Play Bama,” tweeted Tomasco.

It should be noted that according to his Twitter account, Tomasco is a Texas A&M alumnus.

So while the Aggies and Alabama are now SEC West rivals, it’s apparently safe to say that the bad blood between Texas and Texas A&M still runs far deeper.

Saturday’s game between the Longhorns and the Crimson Tide is set to kick off at noon (ET). The game will be televised by Fox Sports.
