Tom Izzo has been around for a lot of Kentucky teams over the years, including that monster 2012 unit. Now seems like a good time to remind you Izzo has been coaching at Michigan State since 1983 as an assistant and 1995 as head coach.
The Wildcats have won 3 national titles since then. Why does this team impress him so much? Because John Calipari has managed to put 4 seniors on the court.
He said Monday that almost seems illegal.

The Wildcats retain the national Player of the Year in Oscar Tshiebwe and have seen good production from Illinois State transfer Antonio Reeves so far this season. The Wildcats square off against Michigan State Tuesday night in the Champions Classic.
Do they have what it takes to cut down the nets once again?
