Michigan picked up a key Big Ten victory this weekend and poked some fun at its opponent along the way.
With under 2 minutes left in an eventual 24-10 victory vs. visiting Wisconsin, Michigan trolled by playing “Jump Around”. The song is a part of the lore at Camp Randall during Badgers games.
Here’s video from the moment in Ann Arbor:
Michigan is now 4-1 overall and 2-0 in the Big Ten after the win against Wisconsin. The Badgers drop to 2-3 overall with an 0-2 mark in Big Ten games.
Wolverines freshman quarterback Bryce Underwood completed 19 of his 28 passes for 270 yards, a touchdown, and no interceptions. It’s another promising step forward in the development of the 6-foot-4 product out of Detroit. For the season, Underwood has thrown for 1,003 yards with a 74.2 QBR.
Justice Haynes rushed for 117 yards and 2 touchdowns in the victory.
Next up for Michigan is a road matchup at USC on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. ET, that will be televised on NBC. USC leads the all-time series 6-5 but Michigan won last season’s meeting 27-24 in Ann Arbor.
Wisconsin will try to bounce back with a home game against Iowa on Saturday at 7 p.m. (FS1). Wisconsin has a 49-47-2 edge all time but Iowa has taken the last 3 matchups.
