Michigan’s first-half struggles draw concern on social media

Is the moment too big for Michigan right now in the Fiesta Bowl?
The Wolverines broke a huge run on the first play of the game but have looked dreadful since against the CFP underdog TCU Horned Frogs. Michigan fumbled away 2 potential touchdowns within the 2-yard line. The Wolverines enter halftime trailing 21-6 and will have to kick to TCU to start the 2nd half.
This is a surprising development to say the least. Michigan is struggling in the red zone especially, but TCU has also been able to move the ball with ease ever since the halfway point of the first quarter. Starting Michigan QB JJ McCarthy looks frazzled playing the biggest game of his life.
There’s still a half of football to be played, but undefeated Michigan has to shape up quick if its dreams of reaching the CFP Championship against either Georgia or Ohio State are to be realized.
Social media reacted to Michigan’s uncharacteristic start against the Horned Frogs Saturday afternoon.
