LSU AD Joe Alleva is sure to get plenty of applicants for the Tigers’ open head coach position.

However, one application he probably didn’t expect to receive came from an Alabama middle school football coach:

Troy Elliott of Gadsden, Alabama, jokes that he “understands money is tight” and offers to coach the team at only a quarter of what Les Miles made.

He also spoke with BamaHammer.com, where he said he believes he’s “running third behind [Houston’s Tom] Herman and [Florida State’s Jimbo] Fisher” for the job.

Here’s hoping Alleva does his due diligence and gives the middle school coach a chance to prove himself in a formal interview.
