ESPN analyst Mike Bellotti, a former Oregon head coach, stopped by Paul Finebaum’s show on Monday to share his thoughts on the open coaching job in Eugene.

Alongside USF’s Willie Taggart and Temple’s Matt Rhule, Bellotti named two candidates from the SEC — Florida’s Jim McElwain and Mississippi State’s Dan Mullen:

The Ducks are looking to replace recently-fired coach Mark Helfrich. After going 4-8 in 2016, Oregon will try to climb back to national prominence under its new coach.

Bellotti served as Oregon’s head coach from 1995 to 2008, compiling an overall record of 116-55. He then served as the school’s athletic director for two years before joining ESPN as an analyst.
