Mike Bobo and Georgia haven’t had much success against Ole Miss through two quarters at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.

At the end of the first half, it’s Ole Miss 16, Georgia 7.

The Dawgs understand that handing the Rebels a third loss will effectively knock Lane Kiffin’s team out of College Football Playoff contention. But a Bulldogs loss could damage their own chances.

And, so far, the offense has struggled.

Georgia took advantage of a Jaxson Dart interception and found the end zone on a short field. That’s been one of the only bright spots for the Bulldogs offense: they averaged just 2.5 yards a play in the first half. Carson Beck has thrown for only 49 yards while the run game has been a non-factor, with 17 carries for 21 yards despite Nate Frazier’s 2-yard TD run.

This is the second year of Bobo’s second stint as the Bulldogs’ offensive coordinator, as he served as an analyst with the program in 2022 and was Mark Richt’s OC for a good portion of the former UGA head coach’s tenure. And fans aren’t happy with him as the Dawgs’ offense has failed to do much in Oxford.

Here’s some of the reaction from social media following the first half:
