Per a probable cause statement obtained by KBTX, Moss “threatened and assumed a fighting posture towards an unidentified man.” Moss was observed shouting at the man at 1 a.m., police say. The incident was reportedly captured on body cam and street cameras.
Moss enters Year 4 of his career coming off a second-team All-SEC showing in 2024. In a season shortened by injury, Moss recorded 121 carries for 765 yards and 10 touchdowns in 9 starts. He finished 2nd in the conference with 6.3 yards per carry. Elko has had positive offseason updates on Moss’s return from injury.
Elko may be asked for further comment on Moss this week at SEC Media Days in Atlanta. Texas A&M will be featured on Thursday, with Elko joined by linebacker Taurean York, offensive lineman Ar’maj Reed-Adams and cornerback Will Lee III.
