Mike Evans is one of the most sure-handed receivers in the NFL but even he’s prone to the occasional blooper.

The Texas A&M product dropped a wide-open pass that would’ve been a touchdown during the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ game against the division rival Carolina Panthers.

Tom Brady unloaded a bomb, but Evans bobbled the pass at the 25-yard line and it rolled down to the 10-yard line before he slapped it away in frustration.

Heading into the matchup, the 29-year-old Evans had 24 receptions for 358 yards and 3 touchdowns this season. Evans is the Bucs’ all-time leader in receptions, yards and touchdowns. For his pro career, Evans has 630 receptions for 9,659 yards and 78 touchdowns.

Evans has spent his entire pro career with the Bucs since being drafted with the No. 7 overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft. Evans is a 4-time Pro Bowler and Super Bowl champion.

Evans also holds an NFL record for most consecutive 1,000+ yard receiving seasons to begin a career (8).

Evans spent 2 seasons as a major contributor in College Station. Evans amassed 151 receptions for 2,499 yards and 17 touchdowns while with Texas A&M. In 2013, Evans was a consensus All-American.
