Mike Evans has been one of the NFL’s most consistent wide receivers over the last decade. Now, to open Monday Night Football, the WR has secured a milestone and joined some elite company.
Evans’ Tampa Bay Buccaneers are taking on the Baltimore Ravens. On the Bucs’ first offensive possession, Evans caught a 25-yard touchdown pass. This was Evans’ 100th career receiving TD, which makes him just the 11th receiver in NFL history to reach that mark.

Evans is the only active NFL player with 100+ receiving TDs. The prestigious list includes players like Jerry Rice, Randy Moss, and Terrell Owens.
Before becoming one of the NFL’s best WRs, Evans starred for Texas A&M. Evans was a favorite target of Johnny Manziel and caught 151 passes for 2,499 yards and 17 TDs in just 2 seasons. Evans earned First-team All-SEC honors and was a Consensus All-American in 2013.
The Bucs drafted Evans in the 1st round of the 2014 NFL Draft. The pick immediately paid dividends as Evans holds the record for most consecutive 1,000-yard receiving seasons to begin a career, with 10.
The star WR won Super Bowl LV with the Bucs as one of Tom Brady’s favorite targets. Evans has been a Second-team All-Pro twice and has been selected to 5 Pro Bowls.
Through the first 6 games of 2024, Evans had 25 catches for 310 yards with 5 TDs. The veteran is seeking to have his 11th-straight season with 1,000+ receiving yards.
