Mike Gundy throws shade at Oklahoma in answer about the future of Bedlam

Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy took a shot at Oklahoma when asked at Big 12 Media Days about the future of Bedlam.
Every year, Oklahoma State and Oklahoma play each other in one of the most historic rivalries in college football history. Gundy did not seem thrilled about Oklahoma and Oklahoma State’s future as rivals. Oklahoma will be moving to the SEC in 2025, if not before, and that could directly impact who is on the Sooners’ schedule.
Oklahoma always plays Oklahoma State, but that could change once Oklahoma makes the move to the SEC. While Gundy did not name Oklahoma, he seemingly referred to Oklahoma when asked about Bedlam:
#OKState's Mike Gundy when asked about the future of Bedlam and #Sooners move to the SEC: "The future of Bedlam is a year or two left. That's the future of Bedlam, based on somebody else's decision."

“The future of Bedlam is a year or two left. That’s the future of Bedlam, based on somebody else’s decision,” Gundy said.
The “somebody else’s decision” was directed at Oklahoma’s decision to leave the Big 12 Conference for the SEC. Gundy alluded to only playing Oklahoma for the rest of their time in the Big 12. He was not worried about Oklahoma State’s future brand, even if Oklahoma is no longer an annual opponent:
Mike Gundy on OSU's brand changing with Oklahoma's move to the SEC: "Nothing has changed… I'm convinced the Big 12 will be here for a long time, but the brand we have here in Oklahoma State will be very marketable in the future." #Sooners

“I’m convinced the Big 12 will be here for a long time, but the brand we have here in Oklahoma State will be very marketable in the future,” Gundy said.
The Big 12 Conference could look to realign with other conferences once Oklahoma and Texas leave for the SEC. If the Big 12 Conference remains, Oklahoma State will be one of the faces of the conference.
