Mike Leach had no interest in a long-winded introductory statement during his first ever appearance at SEC Media Days.
And it was quite refreshing.

“Alright, I’m not a big opening statement guy, and plus, you guys are going to ask whatever you want to know anyway,” the Mississippi State coach said. “So let’s just go ahead and get started. Is there any questions?”
