Mike Norvell discusses Florida State’s QB play, plan ahead of Miami game
Mike Norvell has a lot to say about his 2 quarterbacks coming off Friday night’s 23-16 loss at Duke that dropped Florida State to a hard-to-believe 1-6.
Starter Brock Glenn was benched briefly, did return to the game but was mostly ineffective. He committed turnovers on 3 straight 1st-half snaps, with 2 interceptions sandwiched around a fumble. Glenn finished just 9-for-19 passing for a measly 110 yards and 0 touchdowns.
Meanwhile, backup Luke Kromenhoek was 3 for 7 for 19 yards.
In the aftermath of yet another defeat and with a trip south in Week 9 to face No. 6 Miami, Norvell said Sunday that both of his quarterbacks are going to continue to work and prepare. What exactly that means about who will start and get the majority of the snaps on Saturday night in Miami is anyone’s guess.

Norvell liked what he saw from the freshman Kromenhoek on Friday night.
“I absolutely did not think the moment was too big for him,” said Norvell.

Meanwhile, Norvell said that the Seminoles will “evaluate all things this week” regarding whether Kromenhoek would play some this week against the Hurricanes.

Florida State will be a heavy underdog against rival Miami as the teams kick it off at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN.
ESPN’s matchup predictor gives the Seminoles a feeble 8.6% chance to pull the monster upset.
