Mike the Tiger had a nice pregame meal ahead of LSU’s huge matchup against Alabama. Mike VII, who is the only tiger living on an American college campus, chowed down on some beef that was in the shape of a houndstooth Alabama hat.
This is a weekly tradition for Mike. The tiger always enjoys eating the logos of opposing teams before each big showdown.

For Week 11, the Tigers will have a live tiger on the sideline for the first time since 2015. It won’t be Mike VII, but instead, it will be a tiger from Florida named Omar Bradley.
Mike VII has had the role of Mike the Tiger since the 2017 season. The tiger was born in 2016 and was donated to LSU by a wildlife sanctuary in Florida. LSU has had a live version of Mike the Tiger on campus since 1936.
On the field, Week 11 will be the biggest game of LSU’s season thus far. The No. 15 Tigers enter the matchup with a 6-2 overall record and a 3-1 mark in conference play. The No. 11 Crimson Tide, meanwhile, enter with a 6-2 record overall and a 3-2 record in SEC play.
The Tide have won 8 of the last 10 in this rivalry series, but the Tigers have won 15 home night games in a row. The winner of this game will remain alive in the College Football Playoff race by picking up another quality SEC win.
These rivals will kick off from Tiger Stadium at 7:30 p.m. ET.
