Ahead of LSU’s matchup against Army Saturday afternoon, LSU’s mascot, Mike the Tiger was seen enjoying an Army-themed meal.
Mike posted a meal consisting of some sort of meat shaped into the shape of Army’s logo, though the post said that Mike did not actually eat the meal out of respect for the military.
Didn’t want to skip tradition by not posting the meat art but did want to show respect for our military by not showing me eating it. Geaux Tigers! pic.twitter.com/QbewIurfhg

For every game this season, Mike has posted his meals on social media ahead of each game. This is the first one he has skipped, though he likely was still fed before the game.
LSU is looking to get an easy win on Saturday before getting into the bye week. The Tigers have won back-to-back games since losing to Ole Miss, and they’re looking to keep that winning streak going on Saturday. Army has struggled this year, starting the season 2-4, so LSU should have no trouble.
After the bye week, LSU will have a big matchup against Alabama.
