Mike the Tiger dines on hog-themed feast ahead of LSU-Arkansas game

When it comes to the Bayou, Mike the Tiger is the undisputed king of the jungle. LSU’s mascot reiterated his status by dining on a hog-themed feast prior to the LSU-Arkansas game.

This latest mascot, a Bengal–Siberian mix, is the 7th live tiger in LSU’s history. Mike VII was donated by an Okeechobee, Florida sanctuary and was previously named Harvey.
No. 7 LSU will attempt to not take Arkansas lightly after a massive 32-31 overtime victory against Alabama. LSU wins the SEC West with a victory and an Ole Miss defeat to Alabama. Arkansas most recently lost 21-19 against visiting Liberty despite a furious comeback attempt.

LSU-Arkansas is slated for a 12 p.m. ET kickoff and will be televised on ESPN. LSU leads the all-time series 42-23-2 vs. Arkansas. Arkansas took last season’s meeting 16-13 in Baton Rouge.
