Mike Vrabel has spent a lot of time around Derrick Henry, serving as the head coach of the star running back since the 2018 season. Along the way, Henry has produced some dominant moments and some of the best seasons in the NFL.
During Monday’s meeting with the press, Vrabel was asked an intriguing question: How many 5-year-olds would it take to bring down Henry? To his credit, Vrabel took a moment and delivered an in-depth analysis of the scenario.
“A shit ton,” Vrabel said as he pondered the question. “I don’t even know if they could. How many kids would die in the process?
“Do I need to give you a number, like a legitimate number? What kind of area? Is it confined space?”
After going back and forth with the reporter, Vrabel eventually went with a 10-yard box for the scenario:
“Okay, so let’s say he’s got a 10-yard-wide space, it would probably take… 35. You want to try it,” Vrabel questioned to a chorus of laughter.

Considering Henry’s tackle-breaking prowess, it sometimes feels like it takes all 11 members of an NFL defense to bring down the former Alabama star. In that case, it’s fair to wonder if Vrabel’s assessment is a bit low.
