Tennessee’s receiving corps is losing some big-name players this offseason as Jauan Jennings and Marquez Callaway have run out of eligibility on Rocky Top.
While the Volunteers will still have plenty of options remaining on the roster with their returning receivers, there’s no doubt the room could use some help when it comes to depth. After signing four-star receivers Jalin Hyatt and Jimmy Calloway during the Early Signing Period, Tennessee has now added an interesting pass-catcher via the transfer market.
This week, former Nebraska receiver Miles Jones has joined Jeremy Pruitt’s Tennessee program as a walk-on. This news was first reported by Brandon Martin of VR2.
Jones signed with Nebraska out of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., in the 2018 recruiting cycle. He was listed as a 5-foot-9, 180-pound three-star prospect and the nation’s No. 44 athlete.
During his time in Lincoln, which spanned two seasons, Jones only caught pass after redshirting his first season on campus and suffering an injury his second season with Nebraska.
