Minkah Fitzpatrick, former Alabama DB, placed in NFL concussion protocol

Minkah Fitzpatrick is in the NFL concussion protocol. It is believed the Steelers star and former Alabama standout suffered the injury at some point during Sunday’s game, though he played every defensive snap in a losing effort.
Fitzpatrick will have to be cleared by the league, which includes an independent medical exam, before he can play against the Jets Sunday.

Fitzpatick has been one of the best defensive backs in the league, especially since being traded from Miami to Pittsburgh. This is obviously a huge loss for the Steelers, who are looking to bounce back from the rivalry loss to Cleveland Sunday.
