Minnesota Vikings announce signing of former Georgia WR Tavarres King

Former Georgia WR Tavarres King signed with the Minnesota Vikings, the team announced Thursday.
King spent the 2015-17 seasons with the New York Giants, with previous stops with the Denver Broncos, Carolina Panthers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Jacksonville Jaguars. King has caught 22 passes for 303 yards and three TDs during his NFL career.
King’s best season came in 2017, where he caught 18 passes for 240 yards and all three TDs.
The Mount Airy, Georgia, native played for the Bulldogs from 2008-2012 and recorded 135 catches for 2,602 yards and 20 TDs.
He posted a thoughtful goodbye message to the Giants on his Instagram page:
