Mississippi State lost out on its chance at an SEC West title and a College Football Playoff berth with Saturday’s disappointing 31-17 loss to Ole Miss in the Egg Bowl.
After the game, Mississippi State head coach Dan Mullen was clearly frustrated in addressing the media, and when he was asked about the overwhelming number of big plays Mississippi State allowed the Ole Miss offense he wasn’t exactly shy in assigning blame.

The Bulldogs allowed Ole Miss to amass 532 yards of offense for the game, more than 360 of which came on just eight of the Rebels 62 plays from scrimmage.
