Ole Miss is heading in an exciting new direction with Lane Kiffin taking over as head coach. However, still not everything will go perfectly for the Rebels during recruiting.
On Tuesday, 3-star athlete An’Darius Coffey announced that he has decommitted from Ole Miss and has reopened his recruitment, which came one day before the start of the early signing period. Coffey, who attends Winona Secondary School in Winona, Miss., shared the news on Twitter:

Coffey is the No. 77 athlete in the 2020 class, per the 247sports Composite rankings, as well as the No. 30 recruit from Mississippi. He is listed at 5-foot-11, 190 pounds.
Coffey had been committed to Ole Miss since June 5, and he took two unofficial visits to the school during the season. He also didn’t take a visit to any other school since committing.
However, it’s now a possibility that Coffey won’t be beginning his college career with the Rebels. He also has an offer from Southern Miss, and it’s possible that he’ll now draw interest from more schools.
