Mississippi Made: Matt Luke’s Ole Miss program lands in-state commitment
Ole Miss head coach Matt Luke added to his 2021 class on Sunday, gaining a verbal pledge from in-state prospect Chandler Pittman out of Magee, Mississippi.
Pittman posted the commitment on his Twitter page, along with a statement.
“After all the hard work that has been done and will continue to be done,” said Pittman, “motivation from my family, coaches, brothers, and my community has brung me here today where I’d like to say I’m committed to the University of Mississippi.”
Pittman does not have a star rating on the 247 Sports Composite, but will still have another year of high school football as part of the 2021 class. Pittman is listed as a 5 foot 1o, 160-pound athlete with interest from other in-state schools, such as Mississippi State and Southern Miss.
Ole Miss was off this week as it continues its quest for a bowl bed at 3-5. Next, the Rebels travel to No. 11 Auburn in Week 10.
