Mother Nature is not being kind to the SEC spring game schedule this Saturday. Mississippi State is the latest team to have its Saturday showcase scrimmage moved indoors due to lightning in the area, the team announced.
Due to inclement weather and lightning, Saturday’s open scrimmage is being moved inside the Palmeiro Center and will be closed to the public.

Mississippi State’s Saturday scrimmage was on the SEC’s spring game schedule with an SEC Network+ stream. While many spring games are the final practice of the 15-practice spring session, Mississippi State’s announcement notes there will be another scrimmage open to the public next Saturday.
Arkansas also had its spring game scrimmage moved inside Saturday.
