Mississippi State and LSU will be meeting on the gridiron on Saturday. Fans understand how important the game is, as the tickets have sold out ahead of the matchup.
LSU has dominated the all-time series 77-36 and won last year’s matchup in Baton Rouge 31-16. The Tigers hold a two-game win streak over the Bulldogs.
Will Rogers and Mississippi State will have something to say about ending that streak in the conference opener.

The Bulldogs last beat the Tigers in 44-34 in Starkville during the 2020 season. Beating No. 14 LSU in Week 3 would be a huge win for the Zach Arnett era.
Mississippi State comes into the game at 2-0 after knocking off Southeast Louisiana and Arizona in its first two games. The Wildcats took the Bulldogs to overtime in Week 2, but Arnett’s team escaped with 31-24 win.
Rogers will be one of the stars to watch, but the emergence of running back Jo’Quavious Marks has been something to behold.
Marks has 250 yards rushing and 3 touchdowns from the first two games.
Kickoff from Starkville will be at Noon ET on ESPN.
