Mississippi State added a wideout to its Class of 2017 on Monday.
Three-star wideout Monterio Hunt, a 6-foot-1, 180-pound prospect out of Walnut, Miss., announced his decision to play for the Bulldogs on Twitter. Hunt revealed his commitment on Twitter this afternoon. However, he did mention he’d be visiting other schools.
Hunt, the No. 142 WR in the class according to 247Sports’ composite rankings, has been offered by South Alabama, and he’s also getting interest from Ole Miss and Memphis.
He’s Mississippi State’s sixth commitment in the class, joining four other three-star prospects: TE Ravian Pierce, OT Tommy Champion, ATH Cameron Myers and CB Emanuel Dabney as well as four-star dual-threat QB Keytaon Thompson.
