Mississippi State has received their third commitment for the 2025 class, as Dallas shooting guard King Grace pledged to Chris Jans and the Bulldogs on Sunday.
Grace, a 4-star recruit who transferred from Waxahachie (Tex.) to Dallas’s Faith Family Academy, is considered a top 50 player by 247Sports’ composite rankings, as well as the No. 8 shooting guard in the country.

Along with Mississippi State, Grace took official visits to Cincinnati, Oklahoma, SMU, Texas A&M, and TCU. Ultimately, the Bulldogs were the team to gain his commitment.
The Bulldogs gained their 1st pledge of the class on Aug. 21, as another DFW product, DeSoto High School’s Cameren Paul, announced his commitment. The small forward is ranked as the nation’s No. 24 player at his position. They also have a pledge from North Carolina big man Chol Machot, a former 2023 recruit that reclassified to 2025. Now, with Grace in the fold, Mississippi State now has the No. 11 recruiting class in the country and the No. 5 class in the SEC.
